This week...

8/17 7th Orientation 8 – 10:30, lunch 10:30-11, school lunch is available or bring a home lunch. STUDENTS ONLY. Friends and family cannot attend.
8/18 First day and Welcome back assembly, Advisory bell schedule
8/20 Open house 4:30 – 7:30, start in auditorium, walk your students schedule, FOOD trucks available to purchase dinner 6-7:30.
8/21 2:30 Release (Click here for bells)

Thank you for registering for next school year. Curious about supplies? Teachers will have syllabi on the first day with supplies necessary. Need help with supplies? Message our Family Support Coordinator at marcy.jenkins@slcschools.org.

Tyrone Says...

... don't worry about supplies the first day of school, including 7th grade orientation on Aug. 17th. A water bottle, folder for handouts, and a few writing utensils should be sufficient. Carrying these items in a bag or backpack is probably a good idea.

Parent Teacher Conferences

No appointment necessary. All teachers will be in the gym for drop-in appointments. 9/15 - drop-in in gym 3:00 - 7:00. 9/17 - drop-in in gym 3:00 - 6:00.

Attendance: Cougars are contributors to their community.

Tyrone says, "Cougars are contributors to their community. Purr-fect attendance starts with you!" Be at school and get to class on-time, Cougars! Attend today, achieve tomorrow. Clayton had the best middle school attendance in SLCSD last year and we plan on earning this again. Help your Cougar get to school and talk about the importance of good attendance at home. We will have monthly and weekly attendance incentives students can earn with improved or excellent attendance.

After School

Community Education with Gello, every day until 6 p.m. – homework hall, SEL, Art, gym games, board games, and field trips. Gello will be at Back to School Night for more information.
