Best Attendance! Again!

We love school and we love winning! Clayton won both best attendance for September as well as lowest chronic absenteeism. Thank you for getting your Cougar to school, every day.

More Classes Available

Due to our increased enrollment (and being all-around awesome) Clayton has been given more funds to run additional classes. We are now offering another 7th Science Honors class with Mr. Wickel 2nd period as well as CHOIR with Mr. Egan (amazing choir teacher from East) 7th period. Art 1 with Mr. Liebich is 5th period! Health with Ms. Hazelwood 2nd period. Send your Cougar to their counselor to get a schedule change.

8th Grade CTE and High School Field Trip

All 8th graders will be taking a visit to the CTE center as well as one of the two feeder high schools - East or Highland. Students are assigned to attend their neighborhood high school (East or Highland). Students cannot self-select which one and must attend their home boundary high school. Students pointed to West or living outside of the district were told to select one to attend on 10/6 (East or Highland).

10/6 8th graders CTE tour, regular bell schedule for 7th graders and they will all have 2nd lunch, 8th graders and teachers on the trip all have lunch 12:30 – 1 and then resume schedule
10/8 Advisory
10/8 Girls soccer at Hillside
10/9 Freebie Friday – popcorn!
10/9 Early out
10/9 Play meeting after school - busses run routes to feeder elementaries at 4:30 (Click here for bells)

Peter Pan 2027 Clayton School Musical Registration

Click here if your student wants to participate in this year's school musical. First play meeting is after school on 10/9. There is an after school activity bus running a route to all feeder elementaries at 4:30.

UDOT Walk and Roll Challenge

The Walk & Roll Challenge runs from September to May and rewards students K-8 monthly prizes for walking and biking to school. Students track the days that they walked or biked to school (walking or biking to the bus counts) and then submit them online by the end of each month. Prize winners get chosen the first week of the following month. Walk & Roll - Safe Routes Utah

After School

Community Education with Gello, every day until 6 p.m. – homework hall, SEL, Art, gym games, board games, and field trips. Gello will be at Back to School Night for more information.
