Ms. Paula Clemente has been named a Secondary DLI Model Teacher, and her class has been officially named a "Spanish DLI Secondary Class Model."
This distinction was determined after the State Coordinator visited the Secondary DLI Spanish classes and based on what they found when looking at her students’ learning.
CONGRATULATIONS!!! We are so lucky to have you here at Clayton!
8th Grade Celebration Order of Events
8:00 am - ONLY 8th grade students meet in the auditorium for a final farewell from the administration and to view the farewell video with their peers.
8:40 am - Parents arrive and start lining up for the student parade. Students will come out of the east door from the auditorium.
9:00 am - Students will exit the auditorium out of the east door, and parents will cheer for students as they parade to the back of the school.
9:00 am - 10:30 am - Enjoy music and refreshments.
10:30 am - Farewell 8th graders and parents.
Celebración De 8o Grado Orden de Eventos
8:00 am - SÓLO estudiantes de 8º grado se reunirán en el auditorio para la despedida con la administración de la escuela y para ver el video de despedida con sus compañeros
8:40 am - Pueden Llegar los padres. Por favor sigan los letreros en frente de la escuela para hacer una fila y despedir a los estudiantes
9:00 am - Los estudiantes saldrán del auditorio por la puerta este y los padres podrán despedir a los estudiantes mientras desfilan hacia la parte trasera de la escuela.
9:00 am - 10:30 am- Podrán disfrutar de música y aperitivos
10:30 am - Adiós al 8º Grado
Opening reception for "reimagining," a group show by Clayton Middle School students. The exhibit runs from April 14 to May 16 in the Children's Gallery at the Main Library.
Artist's Statement
Clayton Middle School students have spent time taking a good look at the world around them. In response to what they’ve seen, they have rendered impressions and reimagined the world from personal vantage points. On display are a selection of works by young artists full of imagination and vision.
